' ' My time with Donna has been instrumental in me reconnecting with my wardrobe on a level the busyness of life had conveniently had me forget about....
the level where you truly grasp what works for you and why it works for you.
Donna's work is another level, empowering and freeing. Gently helping me understand how the cut, handle, weight and drape of the favourite pieces I
own should be recognised and noted because these are qualities which I repeatedly search for to make me feel amazing when wearing, and importantly
deliver me a conscious and sustainably focused wardrobe that completely filters the marketing noise that tells me the newest shape is a must have
that I need.
This is not a wardrobe overhaul, followed by a spree to buy unnecessary stuff in this years must have colour and shape.
This is a mindful reconnection to your style, that makes you feel incredible, that you most likely already own but had no idea of the importance of.
Any editing of pieces that no longer serve you purpose are done responsibly. Donna is amazing at reordering in a fashion that allows you to see order
and value where there may have just been chaos and disconnect, and I can honestly say that my time with her has saved me money rather than spending.
More than that though, it's made me more mindful and resourceful with what I already own, next level confident in my own sense of style (less likely to be
influenced buying stuff I don't want or need), focused on buying secondhand first always (so much already exists!! Donna will always help you find it) and
being happy with who I am rather than searching for any type of fashion to fill a void.
If I could give everyone the gift of one thing in the world to help them reduce their impact, be more sustainable and assured of their own identity...it would
be time with Donna. I firmly believe that the more woman connect with themselves rather than the influences they are bombarded with that tell them they
have to dress a certain way, the happier we'd all be and the less we'd consume, reducing our impact on the planet and eliminating the dominance of fast
fashion. ' '

A few weeks ago I saw and tried on a lovely striped knit in Whistles. Close to £100. In the past I would’ve thought
‘I like it, it’s good for the season, I’ll wear it’ This time I thought ‘what is it made of , do you own something similar , leave it and reconsider ‘
I didn’t buy it. Also sourced and purchased a beautiful vintage men’s leather shirt / shacket.
As I was trying it on I thought ‘I will sell my current Zara faux leather shirt to have and keep this’

' ' It's a good time to tell you that the SLOW DOWN workshop was truly transformational. Ian and I are looking at our clothes in a new way now.
We understand fabrics better and that's empowered us to look beyond the surface appearance of a garment and make more informed choices,
we've started to read the washing instructions carefully so that we can take better care of our clothes and we've found a tailor to help us fix up existing clothes.
These are just the beginning steps but there's no going back for us. The work you're doing is so important. ' '

‘ ‘ Donna went though my clothes in groups (tops, dresses) hanging them up on a rail for you to really appreciate what you have, and seeing things differently
stepping out of my comfort zone and being brave to try looks, but never outside me as a person and character. Donna can gauge from your questionnaire about
you, what you want and why, and draws on that in her advice. I never thought of mixing things up and it then also became clear what worked for my shape and
didn’t, she was absolutely right.. when it’s pointed out its obvious but how many of us don’t see it.
After the session I was so pleased and made the changes she suggested and started to get compliments I cant tell you have much that means when
someone comments on your style I felt brave to finally embrace how I am, my style and I enjoy it!’

‘ ‘ I love clothes and shopping and I thought I was fairly confident in what suits me but I found myself in a bit of a rut, living in jeans and owning far too
many grey sweatshirts! I struggle every year to find flattering summer clothes so decided this year I needed some help! Donna put together a summer wardrobe
edit for me that was so unbelievably my style as well as encouraging me to try new things. Pulling together a core basic summer wardrobe with added suprises
and great accessories to add a bit of individuality and personality. I love and want everything!! With her understanding of shapes and colours all the hard work
was done for me. It was especially helpful that she found me good lengths, something I struggle with being tall. I have a better understanding of shapes that are
best for me and I’ve been introduced to some new shopping websites which I’m loving exploring. Thank you Donna – Can’t wait for my next edit!! Roll on Autumn

‘ ‘ When I came out of the fog of the newborn days, I was lost on the ‘style’ front and found myself living in gym gear. Lost and with an SMP budget I needed some
help to create a breastfeeding friendly wardrobe that would make me feel like me again. So I called in Donna, I knew she would be the person to help me out of
this lycra rut.
She came up trumps – she got how I needed pieces that would interchange, allow for easy access to feed and that reflected me. It was just the inspiration I need
to go forth and rediscover myself.
Donna will help you realise where to splurge and save on pieces that will work with existing bits focusing on better quality over fast fashion. I guarantee she’ll create some lightbulb moments and even encourage you to step out of your comfort zone to discover that pieces you thought would never suit you, actually DO!’ ‘

‘ ‘ Contacting a Personal Stylist is something I’d thought about but never thought I would do. It’s something I hadn’t considered to do for myself, in that maybe I was too old or busy with the kids to think about how I looked.

‘ ‘ The experience exceeded my expectations, I was worried I would have very little that would be able to inspire any sort of coming together at all. I don’t know why but I didn’t expect you to go through my bags and shoes as well, but I was glad you did! At my most ambitious I thought to myself If I can get one good outfit out of this, it will save me money on a shopping spree where I end up buying more I don’t wear. The reality is there are at least 5 or 6 things that I can now put together in different ways, So it was definitely worth every penny! ‘ ‘ My confidence was at a 4/10 now I’m at a 8/10 already. The change in confidence is down to having a better understanding of what suits my body type. I found it really fascinating as most of the items listed I most likely wouldn’t have picked for myself. I needed a dress for an event, It was so easy. From picking options, to telling me the size I should order and having the links on my email. Everything was so easy and professional. I will 100% be calling on Donna again. ‘ ‘
